"YOU ARE THE ACTOR...BUT IS IT ART?" - schmettert die Performanceband SV DAMENKRAFT dem Publikum staccato-artig und auffordernd entgegen.

Seit mittlerweile fast 3 Jahren spielen die vier sehr unterschiedlichen "Damen" nun bereits zusammen und entsprechen dem klassischen Girl-group-image doch nicht so ganz. Ihre gemeinsame Sprache ist eine agit-queere á la FEMPLOITATION, die sich aus minimal-brachialem Tech-Lektro-Punk-Pop und explizit sexualisierten Choreografien sowie poetisch-aktivistischen Texten und glamourösen Stylings zusammen setzt.

Im Sinne von Emma Goldman´s "It´s not my revolution, if i can´t dance to it." kann nurmehr hinzugefügt werden: AND YOU CAN DEFENITELY DANCE WITH THEM!" (F.X.)

It has now been almost three years since the four very different "ladies" ("damen") have been performing together and still they do not quite fit the classical girl-group-image.

Their common language is agit-queer á la FEMPLOITATION, composed of minimal-brute Tech-Lektro-Punk-Pop and explicitly sexualised choreographies as well as poetic activistic texts and glamourous stylings.

In the wake of Emma Goldman´s "It´s not my revolution, if i can´t dance to it." one can only add: "AND YOU CAN DEFINITELY DANCE WITH THEM!" (F.X.)
